Halloween 2019

Halloween has long been celebrated in western culture but what we celebrate today is a mixture of customs of pagan and Christian origins. Halloween originated from an ancient Celtic seasonal festival, known as Samhain, to mark the end of the harvest and to remember the dead. It was celebrated from sunset on October 31 to sunset on November 1. This Halloween, HISTORY have curated the best documentaries that delve into the holiday’s spooky origins.
