British/Australian archaeologist and writer, Adam Ford, has excavated sites and explored the story of human history across the world. He has led and participated in expeditions to the Caribbean, Europe, Middle East and Australia. From Cold War bunkers in England to Bronze Age cities on the Euphrates, shipwrecks in remote Western Australia to burials in Barbados, Adam has thrown his energy, enthusiasm and humour into unlocking the mysteries of the past. Adam is the founder of DIG International, a company that has a proven record of conducting innovative, best practice archaeological work on some of the most significant projects in Australia.
Adam reckons there’s no point in digging stuff up if the public don’t get to hear about what it all means, so he is delighted to raise the profile of history and archaeology through TV. In his ABC1 series Who’s Been Sleeping In My House? Adam discovered amazing stories hidden within the bricks and mortar of homes across Australia. In this series he digs deep to discover the true stories of Australia’s most infamous bushrangers.
