Remembrance Day 2019

HISTORY commemorates the 100th Remembrance Day in 2019 with a line-up of premiere titles that shines a light on World War I and II along with various other titles across the month that look at conflict around the globe over the last century. The first Armistice Day (now Remembrance Day) was marked in the UK after King George V issued a proclamation (on 7th November) calling for a two-minute silence at 11:00 a.m. on 11th November. The event remembers the members of the armed forces who lost their lives in the line of duty.
